Every shipment from ARGO is backed by rigorous quality control, complete documentation and full compliance with international import regulations. Our integrated export model improves cost efficiency, product integrity and transaction reliability.
We work exclusively with certified Georgian slaughterhouses and registered livestock farms. Every supplier is audited for compliance with veterinary health standards and our internal quality requirements before onboarding.
Each hide is individually inspected at source for surface quality, uniformity, dimensions and the absence of significant defects such as cuts, holes or brand marks that would reduce leather value.
Skilled operators perform careful hand-flaying to ensure uniform thickness and clean separation from the carcass. This critical step preserves the maximum surface area and structural integrity of each hide.
Proper heavy salting is applied immediately after flaying to halt bacterial degradation and ensure optimal preservation throughout international transit, including loading, sea voyage and port waiting times.
All hides are weighed, classified by category (A: 12–20kg, B: 23–30kg, C: 30–35kg) and graded for quality. Mixed categories are segregated. A detailed, itemized packing list is prepared for each container.
Graded hides from multiple certified suppliers are consolidated into single 40' reefer containers, optimizing freight costs while maintaining strict traceability per batch and per supplier.
